Thanks For Visiting HealthyLeaderBlog
My name is Adam Cairns and I work as a Healthcare CEO.
This is my personal blog. It is focused on ethical leadership in a healthcare context.
I started HealthyLeaderBlog because It can be an exhausting business balancing the many competing priorities healthcare leaders routinely face. My philosophy is if you are going to lead well, you must be ready to do your best for the people in your care, but not at the cost of your own health or happiness.
The challenge for many healthcare leaders I've known is how to look after themselves when their whole focus is on delivering for their organisation.
I write on leadership, innovation and personal productivity and on occasion, stuff that doesn't neatly fit into these categories.
My goal is to create insightful, relevant content that you can put to work in your personal and professional life. I aim to provide advice, tips and practical tactics that you can put into use straight away to help you become a more healthy leader.
If you are in a position of leadership – or aspire to be a healthy leader – then this blog is for you.
I typically post two to three times per week. To make sure you don't miss my newest posts, you can subscribe via RSS or email.
